This guide is for repair technicians, although the first 2 sections below (Filters and ThinQ) are consumer level. The guide combines all of the drying related service bulletins into one...as of August 2025. Authorized Service Centers can use the LG Tech Assist app to lookup service bulletins (or csportal.lge.com).
Most service calls for slow drying will likely be related to restricted airflow due to lint build up. The lint trap needs to be cleaned after every drying cycle. There are some (free of charge) new parts that will improve airflow and help trap more lint. They are referred to below.
Repair technicians should watch this video before making a service call on the WashCombo. It outlines all of the Service Bulletins related to drying.
New lint filters
Do you have the latest filters installed?
These are provided for free and consumers can install them themselves.
The new lint filter has a different shape. It reduces the chance of installing it incorrectly.
The new condenser filter has a finer mesh to catch more lint. It's also easier to remove since it attaches with magnets.

Make sure the WashCombo is connected to LG ThinQ®
Before making a service call, authorized service centers should check Argus data using the serial number. You can access it using the LGTA app or csportal.lge.com. Note that Argus data will only be present for appliances connected to ThinQ.
If Wi-Fi on the WashCombo is not working, all 3 boards have to be replaced. There is a video below explaining how to replace the boards
